Parents/Guardians:
In an attempt to keep our families and community informed about school events, policies, and procedures - school information is regularly posted on our school website. Our URL is www.SANJOSECHARTERACADEMY.COM. Periodically, the autodialer calling system will be utilized to inform parents with pertinent information. Please inform the front office the best phone number you want us to use for this system. Our goal is to provide as much information to our parents and community as possible, so please feel free to visit our site and provide your feedback.
Parent/Guardian Permission for Publishing of Student Work and Student Image
Publishing of Student Work
I understand that my child's artwork, writing, and photo may be published on the printed media. I understand that copyright and ownership of the work or writing remain my child's property. I further understand that the work will appear with a copyright notice prohibiting the copying of such work without express written permission. ln the event anyone requests such permission, those requests will be forwarded to me as a parent. No last name, home address, or telephone number will appear with the work.
Permission to Use Student Image
I understand that my child's image may be published on the Internet or other forms of media, as part of his or her classwork or extracurricular involvement. I give SJCA permission to use my child’s name, likeness, image, voice, and/or appearance as such may be embodied in any pictures, photos, video recordings, audiotapes, digital images, and the like, taken or made on behalf of SJCA activities. No last name, home address, or telephone number will ever appear with such image. I agree that SJCA have complete ownership of such pictures, etc., including the entire copyright, and may use them for any purpose consistent with the SJCA’s missions. These uses include, but are not limited to illustrations, bulletins, exhibitions, videos, reprints, reproductions, publications, advertisements, and any promotional or educational materials in any medium now known or later developed. I acknowledge that I will not receive any compensation, etc for the use of such pictures, etc., and hereby release SJCA and its agents and assigns from any and all claims which arise out of or are in any way connected with such use.
