8th Grade Events

The 8th grade year at San Jose Charter Academy is one for the books, packed with unforgettable experiences and milestones! Our Kings and Queens are ruling their final year with adventure and heart. From the exciting Washington DC trip to their action-packed high school rally fieldtrips, there’s no shortage of fun.

They’ll explore history at the Holocaust Museum on their 8th grade fieldtrip, enjoy thrills at Knott’s Berry Farm, and shine bright at the 8th grade Awards Night as they celebrate their hard work and accomplishments. Of course, they’ll dance the night away at the 8th grade Dance, then cap it all off with a joyous promotion ceremony and delicious brunch.

It’s a year of memories they’ll carry with them forever, full of laughter, friendship, and new adventures.

8th Grade Washington DC Trip

Our 8th-grade students recently embarked on an unforgettable school trip to Washington, D.C., immersing themselves in the rich history and culture of our nation's capital. From exploring iconic landmarks like the Lincoln Memorial and the Smithsonian Museums to learning about the inner workings of government at Capitol Hill, the trip was both educational and inspiring. It was an incredible opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of U.S. history and experience firsthand the significance of civic engagement.
